About Us

I’m Michal and for over 10 years, I’ve worked in construction. With an MSc in Construction Management, I’ve spent considerable time working in various off-site and on-site construction roles, including working as an Estimator.  

More recently, I began to realise that my knowledge, together with my enthusiasm, could be used to help solve an issue that really worried me – climate change. As a world, we are on the backfoot in regards to the threat of climate change. Our impact on the environment is already beginning to be felt and, as a result, most of us are seeking ways to reduce our own carbon footprint.

Therefore, I set up Alternative Heating Solutions, sourced the very best eco-friendly energy manufacturers to partner with, and set out to bring sustainable home heating to UK homeowners.

We’re a family-run business, now with a highly professional small team, installing sustainable home heating systems across Essex and surrounding areas. I’m also immensely proud to have become the sole approved installer in the UK for Red Snake infrared heating films. 

I believe it’s the responsibility of every one of us to take care of the planet for future generations. Fortunately, over the course of my career in construction, I’ve observed more robust and more efficient sustainable home heating and energy solutions emerge.
